Assignments
Commissions for photography assignments and features
are welcomed. While my main experience is in countryside and environmental
subjects, I am happy to consider a range of photographic work on location
and new creative challenges.
As a sole trader working from home, and with no studio overheads, I am able
to offer a competitive daily rate. Depending on the subject to be photographed,
I can sometimes offer rights-sharing agreements at a reduced daily rate;
for example wildlife subjects can be time-consuming, but if you don’t
really need world rights in perpetuity, I’ll try to be flexible. Registered
Charities and conservation NGOs qualify for discounted rates.
I am accustomed to working to a brief, both on my own initiative and under
the direction of an art editor, and with various camera formats. Finished
work can be supplied digitally, by e-mail, ftp, or on disk.
Running my own photolibrary means that I can often bring added value to
an assignment with stock from my library files, and I welcome the opportunity
to discuss your photographic needs as a whole.
